The Enthusiastic Fisherman

My father and my brothers loved to fish and would often head off to a river or lake to try their luck. Although they are good at catching a variety of fish, their fish were not nearly as colourful as mine.
I have painted the fish on a piece of canvas then cut them out and glued onto the main image to give a slightly 3D look. I've gone with brightly coloured and patterned fish to give the painting a happy feeling.

Since moving to the Mornington Peninsula, Robyn is spending more time with her art work and thoroughly enjoying life.
Robyn mainly uses acrylics in her paintings with some mixed media, although she isn't afraid to mix things up by using oil and watercolour paints too.
Robyn paints mainly landscapes, nature and still life, but has recently begun doing abstract paintings using bolder colours.
