When I began my art practice one of my first artworks (in pastel) was mother and child. I am drawn to people in my artwork. I love this one and am tempted to keep it, such a simple scene of beauty, mother and child on a beach. It has a sense of calm and warmth and my fav colour to paint with of turquoise in the sea.
