I am the proud mother of 5 and grandmother of 10.
I studied at the Sydney Art School and became an art teacher for many years.
Now that our kids have left home, I have more time to paint again.
Several years ago my husband and I travelled extensively in northern Australia.
I fell in love with the landscape, the rich colours and the grand scale.
My paintings are all inspired by what we saw.
I love using textural effects and strong bright colours.
I favour acrylics on canvas, but also like to experiment with collage.
I have been working with my digital photos lately....creating new 3D designs and interpretations.
I am working on a series at the moment…..based on the outback. So many ideas and not enough time!,
I am influenced by Fred Williams, Brett Whitely and many contemporary Australian artists.
