Artwork Description

Watercolour on paper, ready to hang.

Signed on the front.

This artwork comes with an external frame

Painted "en plein air" in the bush at Healesville, Victoria, this work follows the meandering tracks and patterns of the trees and foliage with meandering drawn lines and loosely overlapping blocks of watercolour washes. The sounds in the bush always enhance my attention to these “untidy” shapes and patterns. The play of light gives a visual rhythm that is very satisfying and calming.
