Listen to the summer sounds. Listen to the crackling branches, the flying insects, the gentle breeze. This is a big lazy reclining landscape. I painted this in response to a stay at Riversdale and a subsequent visit to Arthur Boyd's property, Bundanon, both nestled on the Shoalhaven River in NSW.
