Watching Waiting is a beach scene. two little people sitting by the water, watching and waiting for exciting things and taking in the miracle of the power of the sea.
Robbi Kirk was born in country Queensland and now resides in Brisbane. Prior to launching back into her art practise recently, to paint full time, her focus was continually there. She operated design businesses and art galleries. Her works are expressions of transient memories blurred into forms and feelings on canvas. The colour and design flow with a soft blend of paint and strong brushwork, paramount in her work, instigating some large abstract works. These are an extension of her strong portrait capability and a need to express more.
