Artwork Description

As the waves caress the shore , the sandy terrain is revealed, like a treasure hidden beneath the foam.
I have been inspired by the sheer beauty of the oceans and waterways which I am surrounded by in my everyday life. Many different colour combinations and layering techniques have been used to capture the texture, movement, and energy of this beachscape in an abstract / simplistic interpretation.
I have used a colour palette of soft pastel dreamy coral/sandy tones and pastel blues as a base for the foamy whites as my top layer, to give the illusion of soft ripples of water and sea foam trickling over the shimmering sands underneath, which in turn glows through this sea foam in varying lights which changes throughout the day.
This minimalistic artwork has challenged my spirits to evoke the feelings of tranquility intrigue, calmness and well being.
" Beachside Glow " will look stunning in any interior design, especially one with a coastal , breezy Hamptons vibe and will make that sophisticated, minimalistic statement. The artwork is NOW FRAMED in a stunning light timber oak float frame that really elevates the artwork to a new level of sophisication .The images shown here do not do this artwork justice. The detail is far more impactful in real life than what can be viewed on any screen.
" Beachside Glow" has been varnished with 3 layers of archival varnish to enhance the colour and protect it from UV rays. A certificate of authenticity is also enclosed for your records.
Thank you for taking the time to read the tale of this creation of " Beachside Glow" It was a joy to create and I hope it brings you much happiness if you are the person to invest in this one of a kind original artwork.

Artist Bio

I push fluid art beyond the pour, beyond the patterns, beyond the expected!
Because fluid art isn't just about what the paint does. It's about what you make it say!

I am an award winning artist. Please see some of my achievements on my profile.
Coming from a family of artists, I have been surrounded by creativity and artistic expression throughout my life, which has significantly shaped my approach to art today. I am sure I was born with paint running through my veins and paintbrush in hand.
I was born in Sydney NSW and have been living on the beautiful Gold Coast in QLD for the last 16years.
I am an independent self-educated artist, across many diverse art forms including acrylic abstract art, Chinese brush painting, alcohol ink painting, bark pictures and over the last 6 years I have been challenging my spirits and exploring the many different facets and techniques of fluid art. My art style is modern contemporary/abstract, sometimes leaning towards impressionism and the techniques I use in this art form , have captured a new edgy perspective from the usual fluid art experience. I mainly use acrylic paints with polymer as a flow medium, although I also love to use alcohol ink as another medium.
As an abstract fluid artist influenced by impressionism, my inspiration and my artistic practice flows from my love of IKIGAI where passion, mission, vocation, and profession converge. My aim is to evoke emotion and provoke thought through vibrant and subtle colours and dynamic forms. The natural beauty of coastal and hinterland landscapes on the Gold Coast further fuels my creativity, allowing me to express my experiences and emotions through my art. I embrace the fluidity of life, allowing each piece to evolve organically, reflecting the beauty of existence and invite viewers to explore the depths of their own IKIGAI.
My artworks are held in private collections throughout Australia and abroad and have also been represented in many galleries across Queensland and NSW and internationally.

The pour is just the beginning!
