In "Blue Distraction" the horizon line is blurred, with soft gradients of blue merging into one another, creating a dreamlike quality. The use of translucent layers gives the impression of depth, as if the observer is peering into an endless sea, hints of white and green suggest distant waves and coastal vegetation, while the overall composition invites contemplation. The title "Blue Distraction "reflects the idea that the beach, while visually captivating, can also lead one to drift away from reality, lost in thought and imagination, in this abstract interpterion.
This artwork is a one of a kind piece and can never be replicated, as the nature of fluid art, is a very intuitive and organic process. The painting will suit any interior style you may have in your home or commercial space. A large blank wall will come to life with this intriguing piece and will surely start that conversation. It is a dynamic piece yet still having a calming affect and shows various textures shapes and form. The detail has to be viewed to really appreciate the overall presence of the painting. "Blue Distraction" has been coated with 3 soft layers of archival varnish to help protect it from UV rays and comes ready to hang and also with a certificate of authenticity. Thank you for taking the time to read and reflect on the story of this piece. I hope you the collector or investor will enjoy this artwork as much as I did creating it.

Artwork Description
Artist Bio
I am an award winning artist. Please see my achievements on my profile.
Coming from a family of artists, I have been surrounded by creativity and artistic expression throughout my life, which has significantly shaped my approach to art today. I am sure I was born with paint running through my veins and paintbrush in hand.
I was born in Sydney NSW and have been living on the beautiful Gold Coast in QLD for the last 10 years.
I am an independent self-educated artist, across many diverse art forms including acrylic abstract art, Chinese brush painting, alcohol ink painting, bark pictures and over the last 4 years I have been challenging my spirits and exploring the many different facets and techniques of fluid art. My art style is modern contemporary/abstract, sometimes leaning towards impressionism and the techniques I use in this art form , have captured a new edgy perspective from the usual fluid art experience. I mainly use acrylic paints with polymer as a flow medium, although I also love to use alcohol ink as another medium.
As an abstract fluid artist influenced by impressionism, my inspiration and my artistic practice flows from my love of IKIGAI where passion, mission, vocation, and profession converge. My aim is to evoke emotion and provoke thought through vibrant and subtle colours and dynamic forms. The natural beauty of the Gold Coast further fuels my creativity, allowing me to express my experiences and emotions through my art. I embrace the fluidity of life, allowing each piece to evolve organically, reflecting the beauty of existence and invite viewers to explore the depths of their own IKIGAI.
