Artwork Description

This abstract piece "It Draws Me Up" explores the tension between control and chance, as fluid, expressive marks and non tactile textured forms interact and intersect. The earthy, vibrant colour tones and subtle hues I have used collide together and seem to pulse with life, while the movement and flow of the composition create a sense of upward visualization. The coral tones and light-infused horizon which blurs and blends with the skyline adds a sense of warmth and energy, as if calling the viewers eye upward and outward and inviting them to step into the painting.
A gorgeous colour palette has created "It Calls Me Up" combining rich ochres, transparent red oxides, corals, pinks, and earthy browns. A stunning artwork that will lift any room in your home or commercial space with its cheerful, energetic personality.
As the paint flows effortlessly over the deep edge canvas, framing is not entirely necessary but having said that it would enhance the overall presence of the artwork. Your choice entirely.
The painting comes with all hardware attached, ready to simply hang in your chosen position and has been coated with soft layers of archival varnish to help protect it from U V rays and to enhance the colours. A certificate of authenticity is also provided in the package to keep for your records.
A truly dynamic painting and one I am sure will resonate with someone and bring much joy and happiness to. Thank you for taking the time to read the tale of "It Draws Me Up". Don't delay in securing this one of a kind painting, you wont be disappointed.
I am open to commissions.

Artist Bio

I push fluid art beyond the pour, beyond the patterns, beyond the expected!
Because fluid art isn't just about what the paint does. It's about what you make it say!

I am an award winning artist. Please see some of my achievements on my profile.
Coming from a family of artists, I have been surrounded by creativity and artistic expression throughout my life, which has significantly shaped my approach to art today. I am sure I was born with paint running through my veins and paintbrush in hand.
I was born in Sydney NSW and have been living on the beautiful Gold Coast in QLD for the last 16years.
I am an independent self-educated artist, across many diverse art forms including acrylic abstract art, Chinese brush painting, alcohol ink painting, bark pictures and over the last 6 years I have been challenging my spirits and exploring the many different facets and techniques of fluid art. My art style is modern contemporary/abstract, sometimes leaning towards impressionism and the techniques I use in this art form , have captured a new edgy perspective from the usual fluid art experience. I mainly use acrylic paints with polymer as a flow medium, although I also love to use alcohol ink as another medium.
As an abstract fluid artist influenced by impressionism, my inspiration and my artistic practice flows from my love of IKIGAI where passion, mission, vocation, and profession converge. My aim is to evoke emotion and provoke thought through vibrant and subtle colours and dynamic forms. The natural beauty of coastal and hinterland landscapes on the Gold Coast further fuels my creativity, allowing me to express my experiences and emotions through my art. I embrace the fluidity of life, allowing each piece to evolve organically, reflecting the beauty of existence and invite viewers to explore the depths of their own IKIGAI.
My artworks are held in private collections throughout Australia and abroad and have also been represented in many galleries across Queensland and NSW and internationally.

The pour is just the beginning!
