Artwork Description

In this piece, I endeavor to capture the essence of the Kakadu landscape, with its kaleidoscope of colours and textures. My artwork is a vibrant, dynamic abstraction that invites you to join me on a journey into the uncharted territories of the imagination. As I explore the boundaries of colour and form, I am reminded of the breathtaking vistas and ever-changing moods of the Australian wilderness. Through the bold, expressive colours and fluid textures, I aim to convey beauty and energy of this unique environment from the lush greenery to the fiery red rock formations and to inspire on- lookers to immerse themselves in its moody, dynamic atmosphere.
Kakadu Kaleidoscope" is not my usual kind of artwork portrayed in my portfolio, which I appreciate, because it just demonstrates to me the amazing versatility of fluid art and its ability to allow the artist to create unusual patterns and explore design. and really let your expression emerge.
As you can see I have used a vibrant colour palette, colours you would expect to find in the stunning vistas of the Top End. Emerald greens, bold reds and rustic oranges, and splashes of gold with blues that create a stunning contrast.
This little beauty will certainly add a touch of personality to any room in your home or commercial space. It has personality plus, but still a very moody piece.
It has been coated with soft layers of varnish to help protect it from U V rays and is ready to just install, as the hanging hardware is all attached to the rear of the painting. A certificate of authenticity is also provided.
As the paint flows freely over the deep edge canvas there is no real need to have this artwork framed unless you want to just elevate the piece to compliment other artworks you may have in your home or office. Your decision.
Thank you for taking the time to read the tale of" Kakadu Kaleidoscope". It was a very exciting and a different challenge/ approach to my usual landscapes.
I am sure this piece will resonate with one collector enough to just snap it up, A one of a kind artwork and one that can never be replicated.

Artist Bio

I am an award winning artist. Please see my achievements on my profile.
Coming from a family of artists, I have been surrounded by creativity and artistic expression throughout my life, which has significantly shaped my approach to art today. I am sure I was born with paint running through my veins and paintbrush in hand.
I was born in Sydney NSW and have been living on the beautiful Gold Coast in QLD for the last 10 years.
I am an independent self-educated artist, across many diverse art forms including acrylic abstract art, Chinese brush painting, alcohol ink painting, bark pictures and over the last 4 years I have been challenging my spirits and exploring the many different facets and techniques of fluid art. My art style is modern contemporary/abstract, sometimes leaning towards impressionism and the techniques I use in this art form , have captured a new edgy perspective from the usual fluid art experience. I mainly use acrylic paints with polymer as a flow medium, although I also love to use alcohol ink as another medium.
As an abstract fluid artist influenced by impressionism, my inspiration and my artistic practice flows from my love of IKIGAI where passion, mission, vocation, and profession converge. My aim is to evoke emotion and provoke thought through vibrant and subtle colours and dynamic forms. The natural beauty of the Gold Coast further fuels my creativity, allowing me to express my experiences and emotions through my art. I embrace the fluidity of life, allowing each piece to evolve organically, reflecting the beauty of existence and invite viewers to explore the depths of their own IKIGAI.
