Artwork Description

"Landlines" serves as a visual exploration of the
Australian outback, inspired by its vastness and layered complexity. Utilizing fluid art techniques, I have embraced the spontaneity of nature, allowing the dynamic colour palette to run and merge without the intervention of brushwork. The ochres, rusty reds, beiges and mochas, and organic browns come together to mirror the natural lines of the terrain- where rivers carve their paths and hills rise and fall. Each hue resonates with the essence of the earth, inviting you to witness the beauty found in the raw untamed landscape. This piece is a tribute to the land that is alive, breathing ,and everchanging, which shapes us. An abstract reflection of its timeless presence.
No image on a screen can really capture the non- tactile textures in the artwork, it should be viewed in person to really appreciate the exquisite detail in the work.
A truly captivating artwork! This piece is a stunning large (Light Oak Timber framed) artwork in todays trending colour palette. that will look just sensational in any style of interior design you may have in your home or commercial space. It's presence is one of boldness which just exudes authority. A real eye-catching piece that will surely spark up that conversation.
Imagine "Landlines" in an entry foyer, study, wide hallways, or over your large comfy sofa in your living area displaying it's organic, earthy colour palette, saying look at me!
"Landlines has been coated with soft layers of Archival varnish to help protect it from U V rays and to enhance the rich, natural colour palette. I have attached the hanging hardware in a landscape orientation but as the piece is multi-directional to suit any space requirements, I can accommodate your hanging preference if you message me after purchase.
"Landlines" also comes with a certificate of authenticity for your records.
This is a one of a kind artwork which can never be replicated but if you miss out on this one or would like a colour change perhaps, I am open to commissions to create a similar piece.
Thank you for taking the time to peruse and read "Landlines" story. I am sure it will resonate with a collector who will just adore it as much as myself. A hard one to part with.

Artist Bio

I push fluid art beyond the pour, beyond the patterns, beyond the expected!
Because fluid art isn't just about what the paint does. It's about what you make it say!

I am an award winning artist. Please see some of my achievements on my profile.
Coming from a family of artists, I have been surrounded by creativity and artistic expression throughout my life, which has significantly shaped my approach to art today. I am sure I was born with paint running through my veins and paintbrush in hand.
I was born in Sydney NSW and have been living on the beautiful Gold Coast in QLD for the last 16years.
I am an independent self-educated artist, across many diverse art forms including acrylic abstract art, Chinese brush painting, alcohol ink painting, bark pictures and over the last 6 years I have been challenging my spirits and exploring the many different facets and techniques of fluid art. My art style is modern contemporary/abstract, sometimes leaning towards impressionism and the techniques I use in this art form , have captured a new edgy perspective from the usual fluid art experience. I mainly use acrylic paints with polymer as a flow medium, although I also love to use alcohol ink as another medium.
As an abstract fluid artist influenced by impressionism, my inspiration and my artistic practice flows from my love of IKIGAI where passion, mission, vocation, and profession converge. My aim is to evoke emotion and provoke thought through vibrant and subtle colours and dynamic forms. The natural beauty of coastal and hinterland landscapes on the Gold Coast further fuels my creativity, allowing me to express my experiences and emotions through my art. I embrace the fluidity of life, allowing each piece to evolve organically, reflecting the beauty of existence and invite viewers to explore the depths of their own IKIGAI.
My artworks are held in private collections throughout Australia and abroad and have also been represented in many galleries across Queensland and NSW and internationally.

The pour is just the beginning!
