Artwork Description

In "Paperbark Trees" I sought to capture the essence of natures elegance and resilience through abstract art. Using fluid art techniques I aimed to translate the graceful curves and rugged bark of the Paperbark tree into a visual symphony of colours and textures inviting you to delve into the serene majesty of the natural landscape.
This unique painting is smaller than my usual pieces and so was a different kind of a challenge for me, but it still allowed me to capture texture, movement and form through technique. No brushwork has been applied.
"Paperbark Trees" is a delicate piece of artwork in soft natural terracotta, pastel colour tones and one that will enhance any interior decor, especially one with a bright, organic minimalistic style which is trending at the moment. I can envisage this artwork hanging on that little wall space that is just begging for attention, in a room which has white wicker furniture and timber accents along with plunging soft sofas and terracotta throws. It will surely enhance the room to convey a relaxed casual style of living.
"Paperbark Trees" comes ready to just hang and is softly coated with Archival varnish to help protect it from U V rays and also there will be a certificate of authenticity included.
The choice to frame is yours but not necessarily required as the paint flows freely over the deep edge canvas. Having said that a light oak timber float frame would just set it off beautifully.
Thank you for taking the time to read about "Paperbark Trees". I have had much joy in creating this artwork and my hope is that the buyer will enjoy having this beautiful artwork in their collection.

Artist Bio

I push fluid art beyond the pour, beyond the patterns, beyond the expected!
Because fluid art isn't just about what the paint does. It's about what you make it say!

I am an award winning artist. Please see some of my achievements on my profile.
Coming from a family of artists, I have been surrounded by creativity and artistic expression throughout my life, which has significantly shaped my approach to art today. I am sure I was born with paint running through my veins and paintbrush in hand.
I was born in Sydney NSW and have been living on the beautiful Gold Coast in QLD for the last 16years.
I am an independent self-educated artist, across many diverse art forms including acrylic abstract art, Chinese brush painting, alcohol ink painting, bark pictures and over the last 6 years I have been challenging my spirits and exploring the many different facets and techniques of fluid art. My art style is modern contemporary/abstract, sometimes leaning towards impressionism and the techniques I use in this art form , have captured a new edgy perspective from the usual fluid art experience. I mainly use acrylic paints with polymer as a flow medium, although I also love to use alcohol ink as another medium.
As an abstract fluid artist influenced by impressionism, my inspiration and my artistic practice flows from my love of IKIGAI where passion, mission, vocation, and profession converge. My aim is to evoke emotion and provoke thought through vibrant and subtle colours and dynamic forms. The natural beauty of coastal and hinterland landscapes on the Gold Coast further fuels my creativity, allowing me to express my experiences and emotions through my art. I embrace the fluidity of life, allowing each piece to evolve organically, reflecting the beauty of existence and invite viewers to explore the depths of their own IKIGAI.
My artworks are held in private collections throughout Australia and abroad and have also been represented in many galleries across Queensland and NSW and internationally.

The pour is just the beginning!
