Artwork Description

This painting "Red Earth Rising" depicts an abstract image when the earth's hidden vitality surges to the surface, as a rugged red hill rises from the terrain, its rough, rocky texture and deep burnished hues evoking the raw power of the natural world. The abstract forms and shapes with vibrant colours used, along with a neutral palette invite you to contemplate the lands enduring primal beauty.
This artwork is a truly thought provoking piece! Many fluid art techniques have been implemented to create a dynamic, rustic, yet subtle artwork, depicting the lean of the land. Textures have been captured in the flow of the paint without the tactile experience you may find in other artworks. The detail captured in "Red Earth Rising "has to be viewed in person to really appreciate the fine art.
For your consideration the colour palette is one of earthy rich organic tones in transparent red oxide, azo golds. browns, and in a delicate contrast, beiges, creams and a soft latte hue, adds a glow to the piece. Your eye will just keep navigating around the canvas and find a soft place to land.
"Red Earth Rising" will look stunning in a space that says "Look At Me" It will lift any room where you want to make a statement!. A moody space, an office, a living area or an entrance to your home.
This piece, as I have demonstrated in the images you see here, is a multi directional piece just designed to fit your space. If you are interested in "Red Earth Rising" message me before purchase, and I will accommodate your preference in the hanging orientation.
The artwork has been softly coated in archival varnish to help protect it from U V rays and also comes with a certificate of authenticity for your collectors records.
A frame is your choice but in my opinion a beautiful timber oak float frame will just elevate this artwork to a more appealing rich finished look, but as the paint falls effortlessly over the deep edge canvas you may not require this addition.
Thank you for taking the time to look in on "Red Earth Rising"
A stunning addition to your collection and one that can never be replicated. A one of a kind piece.

Artist Bio

I push fluid art beyond the pour, beyond the patterns, beyond the expected!
Because fluid art isn't just about what the paint does. It's about what you make it say!

I am an award winning artist. Please see some of my achievements on my profile.
Coming from a family of artists, I have been surrounded by creativity and artistic expression throughout my life, which has significantly shaped my approach to art today. I am sure I was born with paint running through my veins and paintbrush in hand.
I was born in Sydney NSW and have been living on the beautiful Gold Coast in QLD for the last 16years.
I am an independent self-educated artist, across many diverse art forms including acrylic abstract art, Chinese brush painting, alcohol ink painting, bark pictures and over the last 6 years I have been challenging my spirits and exploring the many different facets and techniques of fluid art. My art style is modern contemporary/abstract, sometimes leaning towards impressionism and the techniques I use in this art form , have captured a new edgy perspective from the usual fluid art experience. I mainly use acrylic paints with polymer as a flow medium, although I also love to use alcohol ink as another medium.
As an abstract fluid artist influenced by impressionism, my inspiration and my artistic practice flows from my love of IKIGAI where passion, mission, vocation, and profession converge. My aim is to evoke emotion and provoke thought through vibrant and subtle colours and dynamic forms. The natural beauty of coastal and hinterland landscapes on the Gold Coast further fuels my creativity, allowing me to express my experiences and emotions through my art. I embrace the fluidity of life, allowing each piece to evolve organically, reflecting the beauty of existence and invite viewers to explore the depths of their own IKIGAI.
My artworks are held in private collections throughout Australia and abroad and have also been represented in many galleries across Queensland and NSW and internationally.

The pour is just the beginning!
