Artwork Description

The thing about the ocean is that the surface will not always tell you what is going on underneath (A hidden garden)
I have been inspired by the sheer beauty of the oceans and waterways which I am surrounded by in my everyday life. Many different colour combinations and layering techniques have been used to capture the texture, movement, and energy of the sea in an abstract interpretation. A beautiful colour palette of dreamy blues, teal, greens, and foamy whites used, has created Seagrass Meadows.
I never stop experimenting, taking risks, and pushing the boundaries into the unknown realm of fluid art and its potential, and in my mind, I see this piece not just as art but a journey of self-discovery and revelation through the freedom this art form allows.
Just as each viewer is unique, so too is the energy derived from this artwork. The images you see here on your screen do not show off this artwork to its fullest potential. The eye is in the detail.
Seagrass Meadows will look stunning in any interior style and will make that WOW statement especially one with a coastal breezy or Hamptons vibe. It will also make a statement in any commercial application. A truly unique piece. This artwork can never be replicated.
A large painting, Seagrass Meadows has been varnished with 3 layers of archival varnish to enhance the colour and protect it from UV rays. It is ready to hang in one direction although you may choose to hang/display in a different orientation as it is multidirectional. It also comes with a signed Authenticity Certificate. As the paint flows freely over the edges a frame is not necessary in my opinion, but if desired I would suggest a slim line modern white or oak timber floater frame. The option is yours..

Artist Bio

I push fluid art beyond the pour, beyond the patterns, beyond the expected!
Because fluid art isn't just about what the paint does. It's about what you make it say!

I am an award winning artist. Please see some of my achievements on my profile.
Coming from a family of artists, I have been surrounded by creativity and artistic expression throughout my life, which has significantly shaped my approach to art today. I am sure I was born with paint running through my veins and paintbrush in hand.
I was born in Sydney NSW and have been living on the beautiful Gold Coast in QLD for the last 16years.
I am an independent self-educated artist, across many diverse art forms including acrylic abstract art, Chinese brush painting, alcohol ink painting, bark pictures and over the last 6 years I have been challenging my spirits and exploring the many different facets and techniques of fluid art. My art style is modern contemporary/abstract, sometimes leaning towards impressionism and the techniques I use in this art form , have captured a new edgy perspective from the usual fluid art experience. I mainly use acrylic paints with polymer as a flow medium, although I also love to use alcohol ink as another medium.
As an abstract fluid artist influenced by impressionism, my inspiration and my artistic practice flows from my love of IKIGAI where passion, mission, vocation, and profession converge. My aim is to evoke emotion and provoke thought through vibrant and subtle colours and dynamic forms. The natural beauty of coastal and hinterland landscapes on the Gold Coast further fuels my creativity, allowing me to express my experiences and emotions through my art. I embrace the fluidity of life, allowing each piece to evolve organically, reflecting the beauty of existence and invite viewers to explore the depths of their own IKIGAI.
My artworks are held in private collections throughout Australia and abroad and have also been represented in many galleries across Queensland and NSW and internationally.

The pour is just the beginning!
