Artwork Description

FOR THE COLLECTOR WHO WANTS A COASTAL ARTWORK WITH A DIFFERENCE.

I don't just paint the coastline as it looks - I paint the feeling it leaves behind.

"The Sea Leaves Its Mark" captures the raw beauty of the coastline through layers of fluid movement, rich ocean blues, soft mineral greys and striking copper and earthy tones.
Rather than depicting the sea literally, I wanted to evoke its presence - the way water carves, shifts, and leaves its imprint on the landscape. The intricate cells and flowing forms create a sense of depth and discovery, inviting you to find something new within the painting each time you look into it.
The combination of deep blues and warm metallic-looking copper tones give the work a sophisticated presence. Hung in a living room. entryway or open space, it can act as a distinctive focal point while bringing warmth, movement, and an understated connection to the Australian coast.
I have chosen to present this piece in a beautiful uncomplicated oak coloured timber float frame, which just adds another level of elegance and interest to the work.
I have used many edgy fluid art techniques to create this piece and only the highest quality of materials have been used.
Coated with a soft Archival varnish to help protect against U V rays.
Ready to just hang in your desired space.
Certificate of authenticity supplied.
I hope you have enjoyed looking in on "Where The Sea Leaves Its Mark" as much as I have enjoyed creating this, MAYBE JUST FOR YOU!

Be sure to ZOOM in on the artwork and gaze at the fine detail, non tactile textures in the painting.

Designed to be more than a beautiful painting- it is a piece that changes the feeling of a room.

Artist Bio

I push fluid art beyond the pour, beyond the patterns, beyond the expected!
Because fluid art isn't just about what the paint does. It's about what you make it say!

I am an award winning artist. Please see some of my achievements on my profile.
Coming from a family of artists, I have been surrounded by creativity and artistic expression throughout my life, which has significantly shaped my approach to art today. I am sure I was born with paint running through my veins and paintbrush in hand.
I was born in Sydney NSW and have been living on the beautiful Gold Coast in QLD for the last 16years.
I am an independent self-educated artist, across many diverse art forms including acrylic abstract art, Chinese brush painting, alcohol ink painting, bark pictures and over the last 6 years I have been challenging my spirits and exploring the many different facets and techniques of fluid art. My art style is modern contemporary/abstract, sometimes leaning towards impressionism and the techniques I use in this art form , have captured a new edgy perspective from the usual fluid art experience. I mainly use acrylic paints with polymer as a flow medium, although I also love to use alcohol ink as another medium.
As an abstract fluid artist influenced by impressionism, my inspiration and my artistic practice flows from my love of IKIGAI where passion, mission, vocation, and profession converge. My aim is to evoke emotion and provoke thought through vibrant and subtle colours and dynamic forms. The natural beauty of coastal and hinterland landscapes on the Gold Coast further fuels my creativity, allowing me to express my experiences and emotions through my art. I embrace the fluidity of life, allowing each piece to evolve organically, reflecting the beauty of existence and invite viewers to explore the depths of their own IKIGAI.
My artworks are held in private collections throughout Australia and abroad and have also been represented in many galleries across Queensland and NSW and internationally.

The pour is just the beginning!
