Artwork Description

"WHAT IF THE SEA FORGOT TO BE BLUE"

Tidal blush explores the coastline in a less familiar light- a moment when the coolness of the sea gives way to blush, warmth and something slightly unexpected.
Inspired by changing light, reflection and depth, it is an abstract interpretation rather than a literal seascape. Layers draw the eye beneath the surface, while delicate bead like forms, textures and sweeping whitewash create movement, depth and quiet mystery, like bubbles floating across the surface. The unexpected blush brings warmth and sophistication, with a palette at home in today's contemporary interiors, where softer, nature-inspired tones are increasingly embraced. It can lift a neutral space, introduce warmth and movement, and bring a refined minimalist coastal presence without becoming overtly beach-themed.

"Tidal Blush" is a reminder that the sea is never quite the same colour twice.
Perhaps this is what the tide looks like when it decides to break the rules.

I have strung "Tidal Blush" in a portrait orientation but as the piece is multidirectional, you may want to hang it landscape style. If you message me on purchase I can accommodate your preference to meet your available space requirements before sending off to you.
Softly coated with Archival Varnish (Not a glossy finish)
As the paint flows effortlessly over the deep edge canvas, there is really no need to have this piece framed unless you would prefer it. Please allow extra time for framing and delivery if this is what you decide.
A certificate of Authenticity is also included.
Be sure to zoom in and gaze at the incredible fine detail in the artwork, it is truly spellbinding and dreamy. Depending on the light in your room as it moves throughout the day the artwork will take on different colour variations. The image does not do this artwork justice. It is best viewed in person.
Thank you for looking in on "Tidal Blush" it was such a joy to create and my hope is, if you are the fortunate collector that it will also bring joy to your heart with many years of visual pleasure. You will find something new in the artwork at every glance.
IF 'TIDAL BLUSH SPEAKS TO YOU , PERHAPS ITS THE PIECE YOUVE BEEN WAITING TO BRING A LITTLE OF THAT UNEXPECTED OCEAN MAGIC INTO YOUR SPACE.

Artist Bio

I push fluid art beyond the pour, beyond the patterns, beyond the expected!
Because fluid art isn't just about what the paint does. It's about what you make it say!

I am an award winning artist. Please see some of my achievements on my profile.
Coming from a family of artists, I have been surrounded by creativity and artistic expression throughout my life, which has significantly shaped my approach to art today. I am sure I was born with paint running through my veins and paintbrush in hand.
I was born in Sydney NSW and have been living on the beautiful Gold Coast in QLD for the last 16years.
I am an independent self-educated artist, across many diverse art forms including acrylic abstract art, Chinese brush painting, alcohol ink painting, bark pictures and over the last 6 years I have been challenging my spirits and exploring the many different facets and techniques of fluid art. My art style is modern contemporary/abstract, sometimes leaning towards impressionism and the techniques I use in this art form , have captured a new edgy perspective from the usual fluid art experience. I mainly use acrylic paints with polymer as a flow medium, although I also love to use alcohol ink as another medium.
As an abstract fluid artist influenced by impressionism, my inspiration and my artistic practice flows from my love of IKIGAI where passion, mission, vocation, and profession converge. My aim is to evoke emotion and provoke thought through vibrant and subtle colours and dynamic forms. The natural beauty of coastal and hinterland landscapes on the Gold Coast further fuels my creativity, allowing me to express my experiences and emotions through my art. I embrace the fluidity of life, allowing each piece to evolve organically, reflecting the beauty of existence and invite viewers to explore the depths of their own IKIGAI.
My artworks are held in private collections throughout Australia and abroad and have also been represented in many galleries across Queensland and NSW and internationally.

The pour is just the beginning!
