Artwork Description

This abstract shoreline emerges through fluid movement and layered colour, where white surf-like forms part, to reveal hidden sea hues beneath, capturing the fleeting traces left behind by water, time and memory.
"Where The Surf remembers" is a stunning contemporary artwork that has many fluid layers to it. The sea blue and blush tones you see in the painting, emerge subtlety from the base, through the parting, of the fluid textured whitewashed mediums, which in turn, gives the artwork a soft blue/grey ghosting effect when the lights move across the room, as seen in one image shown here.
I have surrounded this piece with a delightful timber oak coloured float frame to add another level of sophistication and interest. It has been softly coated with a layer of Archival varnish to help protect it from U V rays and is also just ready to hang in your desired space. A certificate of authenticity is also included for your records. I have used a high quality sturdy LINEN canvas on this one and the highest quality of coloured pigments and flow emulsions.
Another aspect to the abstract artwork is its versatility, as you can hang either landscape or portrait orientation. I have installed the hardware in a landscape presentation, as that is my preferred angle and the way I poured the mediums onto the canvas.
"Where The Surf Remembers" will look stunning in any home decor, whether you want to showcase the artwork on its own to bring attention to the space, or to compliment another it will surely be just perfect.
The artwork has tactile and visual texture and form in transparent layers, so be sure to zoom in and gaze at the detail.
Thank you for looking in on "Where The Surf Remembers" A stunning piece of artwork that is elegant, modern, sophisticated, and one that exudes calmness and tranquility. A one-of-a-kind, piece and one that cannot be replicated. Add this beauty to your collection today, or just start one with this piece.

Artist Bio

I push fluid art beyond the pour, beyond the patterns, beyond the expected!
Because fluid art isn't just about what the paint does. It's about what you make it say!

I am an award winning artist. Please see some of my achievements on my profile.
Coming from a family of artists, I have been surrounded by creativity and artistic expression throughout my life, which has significantly shaped my approach to art today. I am sure I was born with paint running through my veins and paintbrush in hand.
I was born in Sydney NSW and have been living on the beautiful Gold Coast in QLD for the last 16years.
I am an independent self-educated artist, across many diverse art forms including acrylic abstract art, Chinese brush painting, alcohol ink painting, bark pictures and over the last 6 years I have been challenging my spirits and exploring the many different facets and techniques of fluid art. My art style is modern contemporary/abstract, sometimes leaning towards impressionism and the techniques I use in this art form , have captured a new edgy perspective from the usual fluid art experience. I mainly use acrylic paints with polymer as a flow medium, although I also love to use alcohol ink as another medium.
As an abstract fluid artist influenced by impressionism, my inspiration and my artistic practice flows from my love of IKIGAI where passion, mission, vocation, and profession converge. My aim is to evoke emotion and provoke thought through vibrant and subtle colours and dynamic forms. The natural beauty of coastal and hinterland landscapes on the Gold Coast further fuels my creativity, allowing me to express my experiences and emotions through my art. I embrace the fluidity of life, allowing each piece to evolve organically, reflecting the beauty of existence and invite viewers to explore the depths of their own IKIGAI.
My artworks are held in private collections throughout Australia and abroad and have also been represented in many galleries across Queensland and NSW and internationally.

The pour is just the beginning!
