"How Now" by Rochelle Toomey
A brown cow is the focus of this painting. It stands in the fields almost looking back at us. This landscape is soft and subtle, with its delightful browns, pinks and grey tones for the field and sky. The landscapes is subtle but the subjects form and bulk stands out from the background and captures your eye.
Currently, I am focused on painting some gorgeous, moody landscapes in my current work. I am strongly influenced by places and landscapes that are peaceful, melancholy and evoke a feeling of home to me. Farm landscapes are always so charming and make the perfect focal points of my paintings. I hope you enjoy this piece. The scene is painted in Rochelle's unique watercolour style.
