This painting in watercolour hopes to bring the viewer memories of somewhere they visited or lived once, or perhaps somewhere they would like to call home. The painting features a red-roofed cottage sitting amongst the fields with red flowers in the foreground. It is a place of comfort and space and quiet. The painting has striking reds with its red roofed cottage and wildflowers amongst fields of olive green.

The artist often takes inspiration from different homes, architecture and landscapes that take the viewer on a journey and bring feelings of warmth and contentment.

This piece was painted by the artist using professional watercolour grade paints and small details in pencil on Arches cold pressed 300 gsm watercolour paper. The artist only uses light-fast supplies of the highest standard to ensure the piece retains its vibrancy and quality.

Although Rochelle began her art journey in 2013, her love affair with watercolours began in 2022. From then. Rochelle made the decision to pursue a career in fine art full-time with watercolour as her medium of choice.

Rochelle's art has her own unique style and her artworks often feature landscapes, animqls and architecture.

Rochelle's inspiration to paint is to recognise things that are important in her own life journey in a way that resonates with people who share a like love for them.
