Artwork Description

Although painted after a trip to the Daintree, this actually painting was inspire by Victoria's Fern Tree Gully. The flies buzz and the humidity is overbearing. Dense greens highlight the mood.

This piece was painted some time ago and is part of my private collection.

Artist Bio

I started my love affair with oil painting at the age of 13, and although life and love dragged me away from it after Art School, I returned to painting in 2018 after a serious back injury ended my career in graphics. Since then I have sold over 80 paintings around the globe and am resident artist in Brisbane’s New Farm Antique Centre, with a studio at Teneriffe's Community Place. Specialising in atmospheric landscapes and colourful impasto Still Lifes in Oils on canvas, painting is my true vocation, passion and a great love.
