Artwork Description

Painted during the bushfire crisis of 2020, with a percentage of sale revenue going to that relief fund, this colourful depiction isn't meant to despond but provoke. The colours lift the mood but the undercurrent prevails.

Artist Bio

I started my love affair with oil painting at the age of 13, and although life and love dragged me away from it after Art School, I returned to painting in 2018 after a serious back injury ended my career in graphics. Since then I have sold over 80 paintings around the globe and am resident artist in Brisbane’s New Farm Antique Centre, with a studio at Teneriffe's Community Place. Specialising in atmospheric landscapes and colourful impasto Still Lifes in Oils on canvas, painting is my true vocation, passion and a great love.

Solo Exhibition - 27th and 28th November at the Metro Arts,
Ferryman's Hut venue on Teneriffe's Macquarie St/Riverwalk.

Lethbridge Small Scale Finalist 2021.

Judge and Prize Giver at the 2021 Royal Queensland Art Society 131st Members Annual.

Toowoomba Grammar Art Show 2021, 2022
