However, photography has its limits, as I felt I wasn't really being a creator. It seemed that so much of the environment had already been snapped and photographed to death! I really wanted to be more involved in the creative process and less concerned with the technical aspects of a camera, I was really looking for a more visceral experience where I could be more hands on. That's when I came across a marbleised painting at an art gallery one day, it was incredible, the paint just seemed to flow all over the canvas like it had been poured on, I thought to myself how I could create something similar? So, I went about researching how I could do this myself, the paintings you see are the results. A while later a friend was visiting my house, saw the paintings and said "you should be selling these, they are very original and unique." So here I am at Bluethumb.
I love painting in this style as it's like swimming in the sea or river, the paint just flows over the canvas while you are using you hands to move the canvas around.
One of my paintings would look great on your walls to add a splash of colour to the place and to add an element of flow into your home or office.
