Rone Waugh aka Wu Long is an Australasian artist based in Sydney, Australia and Beijing, China. Waugh has travelled extensively studying primitive art in Africa and Papua New Guinea and contemporary art in Europe and America.
Waugh studied at Barcelona College of Art in Spain, St. Martins School of Art, Sir John Cass Sculptures Studios, and the London School of Printing & Graphic Arts in England. Having spent several years working in New York, USA and having been exhibited at prominent institutions worldwide, Waugh is now becoming established back home in Australia.
A recent body of work entitled 'China Illuminated' won an award from the Australian government at the Arts in Asia inaugural event.
