Dads Hat

An expressionistic portrait of an ageing man. Dad's Hat utilises a hued colour palette and thick, rough applications of paint to place the protagonist into a rich summer's evening. Behind the man, on the left-hand section of the painting, there are three partially blended sections of cream, light purple, and dark blue paint.
