I drove to my home and when I came into the driveway saw the sun shining through the "bird of Paradise" flower in our garden, so I quickly took a photo and that was the inspiration for this painting. I love the angular shapes and bright colours which captured me and so enjoyed painting this picture immensely. I think it shows through. Show Less
