Raised in Santiago de Chile in a family of ten siblings, abstract and figurative artist Rosario Lopez, moved to Australia in 2012.
Inspired by her past and the everyday scene, colour, movement, landscape and human figure, her art is an impression of feelings and techniques expertise.
Based on life experiences as a member of a big community and always carrying an enormous passion for aesthetics, Rosa decided to be an artist at a very early age.
Always drawing on her school books and having a hard times studying others subjects, she chose to follow fine arts.
Motion, urban scenarios, linear and arquitectural compositions, has taken her attention enormously.
The artist tends to make structural compositions in her paintings and drawings, focusing in the balance, movement and color.
The process it’s a very important part of her work. Every day it is a new opportunity to add something to the blank canvas or to the one that is in progress.
Using acrylic and Chinese ink on cotton paper or canvas, Rosa combines grayish green and pink colors, vertical and horizontal lines that defining a unique stamp of the artist.
