This painting has a classic simplicity feel about it but the vase was actually quite complex to achieve. Various paints and mediums were mixed in a flow consistency then poured onto a silicone surface and left to dry thoroughly for a couple of weeks. Then the paint skin was peeled off the silicone and cut to shape and adhered to the canva, giving a slight 3D effect. The daisies and background were painted with brushwork. Varnished with a high grade sealant for protection. Certificate of Authenticity.
