Artwork Description

This vibrant mixed-media painting features stylised blue figures set within a lush field of bold, oversized flowers. Their expressive eyes and totem-like forms suggest quiet connection and shared presence, while the inclusion of a horse adds a dreamlike, symbolic sense of movement and instinct.
Rich layers of colour and energetic mark-making create a playful yet contemplative work that explores connection, imagination, and the relationship between human and nature.

Artist Bio

Based in Melbourne, Rosa is a contemporary abstract artist specializing in mixed media on canvas. Working from her home studio, she finds true joy in the creative process, constantly exploring new textures, materials, and techniques.

Her work is characterized by dynamic layering, gestural strokes, and an intuitive balance between structure and spontaneity.

Faces and eyes are recurring elements in her art—an instinctive motif that has been with her since childhood. Influenced by Frida Kahlo , Picasso, Basquiat, and ancient Egyptian art, Rosa’s pieces blend modern abstraction with a sense of history and symbolism.

An animal lover and passionate creator, Rosa has successfully sold her work through art fairs, her Facebook page, and her website: www.kexpressionism.art.

Her pieces continue to attract collectors drawn to their raw emotion, depth, and tactile quality.
