My Golden tide

This painting is a very special, quiet piece of my soul. It features the same beautiful island coastline I love to paint, but captured in a much more moody, atmospheric twilight light.
I wanted to share that deep feeling of peace you get right as the day ends and the world goes completely still. I used a palette of rich blues and glowing oranges, and woven subtle gold accents through the sky and the water so it softly catches the light when you move around the room. In the foreground, the thick green bushes and warm orange roses feel heavy with the final heat of the day.
If you look really closely at the gray sandy shore near the distant tree line, you'll find a tiny, secret figure walking all by themselves in the quiet. To me, that lone traveler represents absolute peace, stillness, and finding sanctuary within nature’s grand cycles. I painted this to bring a deep sense of calm, warmth, and pure independence into your home.
