Memories of summer days at the beach, in the form of a crumpled up picture such as you would keep in your pocket and take out when you needed a lift. This is painted in a Trompe L'oeil (optical illusion) style to look like a folded picture sticky taped to a white background wall. The illusion of paper folds and lifting corners are painted into the scene. It is a 3.8mm deep stretched canvas best hung without an additional frame.
