A bad day in paradise beats a good day at work" or so the saying goes.... It sure rings true for me when I'm anywhere near the water. It energizes and restores me.... How blessed we are in FNQ to have these islands so close by! This painting belongs to my latest series "Treasure Hunting" An homage to the vastly varying region of Far North and Central Queensland. The collection asks the viewer to look closer, not for gold and riches but to find the beauty that surrounds us in our own back yard
