Artwork Description

In honour of National Euclaypt Day 2025 I developed two of my eclectic layered intuitive bases further by added additional markings & glazing for added interest and depth followed by negative space painting using a few of my small leafy eucalyptus twigs along with a little artistic license to create this harmonious duo.

Each painting is 42.5cm (H) x 58.5cm (W) = total dimensions of 85cm (H) x 58.5 cm (W) if placed above each other.

Both initialled on the front and finished off with a touch of spray varnish for protection.

As this duo require framing my artwork photos include examples of how this delightful pair could look framed and hung.

Please check artwork dimensions as in situ examples are for display purposes only and may not be to scale.

Note: This unique duo will be packaged between sheets of cardboard for protection rather than rolled and posted in a cylinder.

Artist Bio

Rosemary’s artistic journey is a delightful adventure that showcases the power of creativity. From a young age, she found joy in artistic pursuits, but it wasn’t until her retirement, amid the quiet of countless cover lockdowns, that she truly reconnected with her passion for art.

With an eclectic style that celebrates whimsy, Rosemary’s paintings are a vibrant reflection of her playful spirit. Rather than sticking to a rigid plan, she lets her creativity flow, allowing each piece to reveal itself organically. As she layers colors and textures, her work takes on a life of its own, resulting in captivating pieces that invite viewers into her imaginative world.

Originally working solely with acrylics on canvas, Rosemary has since embraced an exciting variety of materials. Now, her mixed media artworks bring together paint, ink, soft pastels, oil sticks, and collage, transforming her creations into multidimensional expressions of her vision.

At the heart of Rosemary’s art is a simple yet powerful motivation: it makes her happy! The joy she feels while painting shines through in every piece she creates, and sharing that joy with others has ignited her passion even further. With numerous pieces sold and a growing audience, Rosemary is driven to continue creating and sharing her artwork, ensuring that her vibrant imagination remains a central part of her life for years to come.
