Houseplants | Orbifolia

Orbifolia is part of the "Houseplants" series, created to capture the details of my most beloved indoor plants and the unique quality of their leaves. Ideal for all plant parents and green thumbs to showcase their passion. Or, perfect for those wanting lasting plant life in their home without the need to keep them alive.

This original artwork was created using acrylic paint on 200gsm mixed medium paper. Contemporary timber frame is included and ready to hang, although please note image is a representation of the frame only and may slightly vary.

Since I was little I have loved painting, drawing, card making, sewing ... anything creative I could get my hands on! I graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) with an Honours Degree in Interior & Spatial Design, and I currently have the joy of working as an Interior Architect at Integrated Design Group while living in Sydney with my husband and my many indoor plants.

When slower weekends come by, I love to set up the easel and let the hours drift away, painting mostly in acrylics, gouache and alcohol ink. I also find a lot of joy from jumping on the iPad and creating surface patterns or digitally painting during any free moment I can find!
I'm committed to sharing my passion for art, and hope that my work breathes new life and lasting joy into many spaces!
