~ Crimson rosellas are one of my favourite native mountain birds. These beautiful birds frequent my home in the Blue Mountains I simply adore them. I have painted them against the backdrop of Mt Hay and Mt Banks, two famous Blue Mountains peaks.

Rosie is a passionate Australian artist based in the Blue Mountains National Park on the land of the Gundungurra and Dharug people. She works mainly in oil paint and has been oil painting since when she was 15.

Her work is inspired by the constant flow of change and the growth of nature, taken from her surrounding natural environment. Her work features bold colours and elements of movement to display the conscious element of our natural environment, which is alive and constantly changing.
