Rosie Grundell is a contemporary artist whose semi abstract style explores the connection between the land, water, plants and animals. Working primarily with handmade pigment paints, watercolor, acrylic paint and various mixed media, she creates textured atmospheric compositions that blur the boundaries between real and imagined. Rosie uses a process that is both intuitive and experimental. Drawing inspiration from the continual movement of water through shifting landscape. By grinding and mixing natural pigments, incorporating the earth and natural pigments, organic materials and allowing water to flow freely across the surface, she can embrace the unpredictability as a central part of the creative process.
