Artwork Description

Blueshell Rhapsody captures the delicate poetry of the sea in a swirl of rich cerulean hues. This evocative piece blends realism with whimsy, inviting the viewer into a quiet moment where ocean and art collide. Each curve of the shell sings with movement, echoing the rhythm of tides and the serenity of coastal stillness. It's a visual symphony—a rhapsody in blue.

Shell patterns are nature’s fingerprint—intricate, purposeful, and often mesmerizing. They can form through the layering of calcium carbonate over time, influenced by the mollusk’s growth, environment, and even genetic rhythms. Spirals, ridges, stripes, and spots often follow mathematical patterns like the Fibonacci sequence or logarithmic spirals, giving them a natural harmony and symmetry. These patterns not only serve as protection and camouflage but also tell silent stories of tides, seasons, and the passage of time.

Comes with an oak look frame

Artist Bio

I am a contemporary painter known for my abstract and impressionism works that explore themes of nature, landscapes and architecture. I developed a passion for art at an early age, drawing inspiration from personal experiences and nature.

I am a self-taught artist and like using acrylic paint. My painting style is characterized by bold and bright colors and intricate textures, which I hope will brighten your days.

My work blends elements of impressionism, botanical and minimalism with a unique approach that captures emotions, perspectives and social messages. Influenced by nature, they aim to evoke a desired response in viewers to spend time in nature and travel to different places through their use of color, composition, and subject matter.

New to Bluethumb, I work from Brisbane and I have exhibited in Aspire Gallery, Redcliffe Library, Redcliffe Showgrounds and a Westfield art competition in North Lakes.

My desire is to continue to push my artistic boundaries and ever-evolving artistic vision with future works and new techniques.

Thank you for your support and for stopping by.
