Artwork Description

This abstract painting of gold mines in brown, gold, and white conveys a sense of ruggedness, richness, and history. The earthy browns represent the raw, rocky terrain and deep underground mines, while gold symbolize the precious metal with gleaming veins hidden within the earth or shimmering specks in a riverbed. White adds contrast, suggesting dust rising from excavation or the gleam of light reflecting off metal.
The painting’s fluid or layered techniques evoke the slow, patient process of gold extraction. The interplay of colors create a dynamic tension between the hard, unyielding land and the sought-after brilliance of gold, giving the piece a sense of depth, movement, and discovery. This painting captures the natural beauty of gold within the earth.

Artist Bio

I am a contemporary painter known for my abstract and impressionism works that explore themes of nature, landscapes and architecture. I developed a passion for art at an early age, drawing inspiration from personal experiences and nature.

I am a self-taught artist and like using acrylic paint. My painting style is characterized by bold and bright colors and intricate textures, which I hope will brighten your days.

My work blends elements of impressionism, botanical and minimalism with a unique approach that captures emotions, perspectives and social messages. Influenced by nature, they aim to evoke a desired response in viewers to spend time in nature and travel to different places through their use of color, composition, and subject matter.

New to Bluethumb, I work from Brisbane and I have exhibited in Aspire Gallery, Redcliffe Library, Redcliffe Showgrounds and a Westfield art competition in North Lakes.

My desire is to continue to push my artistic boundaries and ever-evolving artistic vision with future works and new techniques.

Thank you for your support and for stopping by.
