Water has always been one of my favourite things to paint. The trees beside this river were bathed in the beautiful soft gold of afternoon. One tree in particular caught the light and glowed vibrantly. This invoked in me a wonderful sense of peace and delight. I just had to get the scene on paper, while being then challenged on depicting the reflections convincingly.
This painting is an original artwork, matted (ready for a frame with glass) and in an acid-free Krystal seal bag for transport protection.
