Hi,I'm Ros.
I was born and lived in outback WA.
My art has been a part of me throughout my life. It is my friend I will always have.
Over a period of time while raising my children I completed some formal training in art and design through part time studies at Tafe.
Also attending workshops, exhibiting and entering competitions.
My work is varied and encompasses a few medium's including lino cut's, screenprint's, mixed media,gouache and acrylic's .
Sometimes it is simply the element of design with colour and shape capturing my attention that I like to work with.
Most often it's the story and that story can come from just a word in a conversation that I will freeze frame in my mind and the picture will come. It can also be a real event from life, sometimes a lyric from a song. Other times I dream of strong, bold, colourful, shapes that become an abstract form in a painting or screenprint.
I like a little twist of humour or depth of mystery.
