This work is part of a narrative series of still life paintings featuring a number of special objects I collected including toys, bugs and small creatures. The objects are painted in a stark white environment to highlight their significance as an object. As if painting a portrait, my intention was to explore the still objects as if they had a life and a story of their own to tell.
