Artwork Description

Nature, bushland, my local environment. The glorious pops of floral colours in heathland in spring. Gentle breeze, warm days, life cycles to renewal for another year.

Creating my artwork is my way of honouring the natural places that helped me learn and grow and that have inspired a lifetime dedicated to the natural environment. This work begins in the bush, with these things: to look, to enjoy, to touch, smell and hear life around me, where I know it best, in the place where I grew up, on Sydney sandstone country, on unceded Garigal/Kuringai land.

I hold a Master of Art from UNSW Art & Design, and my work is informed by a background in biology.
