This work forms part of a series of abstracted landscapes that explore the sensations of being, and a true experience of landscape.

'Falling Sky' and its sister work 'Rising Earth' can be likened to the sensation of lying on the ground and feeling the sky wash over you, at the same time feeling the damp coolness rising up from below. These works have been formed by a process of rusting - a process that literally involves being embedded into the earth for a period of time. The resulting surface becomes the ideal backdrop for my own reminiscences and musings on my experiences.

Falling Sky, and Rising Earth are available for sale separately, however would look amazing as a pair. They come framed in a raw wood floater frame. If you would prefer to purchase without the frame, please contact me to discuss.
