BIJIN (Beautiful) is a stunning, large scale statement piece that is modern and eye catching.
The background is created with gold leaf paint, and the intricate details are hand painted using the colours black, red, white grey, gold and just a pop of pink.
Japanese flowers dance across her hair and the canvas. The work has been inspired by the intricate designs created by tattoo artists.
There is a slight flat texture created from collage layering.
