Today, she channels that lifetime of inspiration into her dedicated practice at Ruby Florence Studio.
Driven by the natural beauty of her surroundings, Ruby’s work is heavily inspired by the stunning Australian coastlines, vast oceans, and iconic Australian landscapes. Her favoured medium is mixed media, which she uses as a canvas for creative experimentation. She loves to explore the mesmerising visual interactions and fluid dynamics that occur when mixing different mediums—blending resin, rich pigments, acrylic oils, and fluid art techniques to capture the organic, shifting movements of nature.
