I am a visual artist, designer, and photographer currently working from my studio at North Parramatta, NSW. I create photography, digital art, design, illustration, and painted works on canvas and other mediums. I have benefitted from formal training in photography, illustration, drafting, graphic design, silk screen printing, and traditional signwriting way back before computerized signage production. My past artistic endeavours include establishing and managing graphics, signage and screen-printing services, working as an illustrator, and working in the fashion and entertainment industries producing photographic portfolios, glamour and portrait photography. I am an avid photographer of people, nature, landscapes, architecture, and anything else that grabs my interest.
My painted works cover a number of styles including bold graphic, fine detailed, stylized, through to abstract. I love the use of texture. Subjects include landscape, cityscape, portraiture, human, natural and architectural themes.
My work includes small to large format acrylic paintings on canvas and other mediums. I produce drawings and ink work on paper and card. I also create digital art for reproduction and print. I have a love for bold designs and colours.
Whilst I have been working with art over many years alongside other careers, at 69 I am now focussing my time and creativity on producing fine art and design for exhibition, and sales to interior designers, collectors and all art lovers. I am therefore an emerging artist with a growing portfolio.
