This painting is my exploration of a memory I have, when myself, my husband and our friends all gathered for a wedding on the other side of the country. Being brought together after a long time apart ignited many emotions of happiness but also sadness as we live far away.
I explore the emotions and connections between myself and others in this image. I examine the personal experiences I have had but also the relationships I see taking place around me. I examine the environment and how individuals can affect environment, which in turn impacts on my own personal experiences.
