Artwork Description

"GOLDEN" is A3 in size and delicately painted with black Sumi Ink and Gold Ink. Simple and Minimal with a lasting impression. I created this piece because on my love for crisp black flowing lines with a touch of quiet elegance. The Gold Metallic Ink is iridescent and ever changing with the daylight. This is a one of a kind piece.

Artist Bio

Artist, Saabira Razac received her Hons. Bachelors of Fine Arts from the University of Waterloo, Canada. She is academically trained in material handling as well as figure Drawing and Abstract Art.

Saabira's portfolio spans many subject matters and levels of abstraction. From Geometric designs and prints, cell shaded figure renditions to completely free formed material expressions.

Saabira's artwork can be described as an exploration of line and colour.

Her abstract-realist paintings and drawings lassos the subject in a tranquil loop of undulating lines and flowing colour. Resulting in calm compositions birth from a chaotic mesh of line and shape.

Her Abstract Ink Expressions are based on a reactive approach to materials. Allowing the material alone to dictate its journey on the page, results in artwork that has no structured direction, but rather a purpose. These Ink Expressions are vibrant, effervescent, and fleeting. Light and translucency aid in creating expressions that are alive, moving and beautiful.

Saabira's unique and contemporary style boasts her love for vibrant colours, playful lines and intricate compositions.
