A piece of art has something to discover and think about. Before I planned this photograph, I had been thinking about the human body, hands, head and mirror for a long time and started to build a surrealistic idea as a photograph in my head. I named them the Mirror stage which is a concept in the psychoanalytic theory of Jacques Lacan.
These are conversation starters, so great to have in your living room or office. They have been named to reflect what its inside and where you can start to think about it.

Artist Bio
Saeed Sourati is a self-educated fine art photographer based in Sydney. He bought his first camera Canon AE-1 in 1998 and started learning photography. He spent almost two years practising and testing different poses until he discovered surrealism and dreams. Being a self-taught photographer and having a filmmaking background has given him the wings to be boundless in the way he dreams and creates a moment to photograph to make the audience think about the subject and its philosophy—a timeless photographic art with a short story inside to discover. He is primarily a commercial photographer.
Abstract, Minimal, Surreal, every kind of style could be his photographic style but has to be related to dreams and fashionable and thoughtfully.
