Caida

This piece is all about friendship and connection and that feeling you get around certain people. Some people you meet and are instantly drawn to and it feels like you've know them for 10 years. That feeling even if you don't get to see them often when you are together your never drained and everything feels so bubbly and elevated. I created the base layer of this piece with acrylic paints, then followed with a few layers of spray paint. The last few layers were created with acrylic paint using a thin paint brush to showcase shapes and linework within the piece. Lots of calm and soothing tones of blues were used in this painting aswell as organic linework.

I'm a self taught painter from Melbourne who loves to explore with colour and shapes. I love creating paintings with mixed mediums which include acrylic paints, spray paints, oil pastels and fine line pens and inks. I enjoy creating pieces that can be interpreted differently to the individual and have a love of abstract, surrealist and cubist artworks. My artwork is produced by creating layers of different mediums to showcase the depth of different shapes and objects while using a vibrant array of colours.
