There were no filters used in capturing this shot at sunset. I was enveloped in shades of blue all around me. And they didn’t all appear in sharp contrast to each other, nor did they appear all at once. It was like a brush stroke of a million blues tickling each one into existence. I tried to guess the names of the various shades as they appeared. The shades kept on reproducing into what seemed like infinitesimal recurrences. After a while, it was like walking through a mind painting of endless colour, except there was really only one true colour with endless shades of it.
This image not only evokes pleasant memories, but is also a subtle study in visual and experiential revelation. A reflection of the beauty that is in nature and within ourselves. A beauty that can sometimes just reveal itself momentarily before hurriedly moving on. The effect, however, lingers in the souls of those whom it touches.
